Churches unite for fete

Kirton and Falkenham Churches Summer Fete will be held on Saturday 8th June at Kirton Recreation Ground from 12pm until 4.30pm. This year’s theme will be ‘As Seen On TV’

As in previous years Michael J. Fitch, magician extraordinaire will be there to delight all the children, parents and grandparents with his fantastic show. Suffolk Phoenix Band will be playing during the afternoon while you walk around the stalls or sit and enjoy a cup of tea.

New this year is a Classic Car, Bikes and Tractors exhibition, plus there will be a display of vintage prams.
Some of the young people from the Cowling Ballroom Dancing group will be entertaining visitors with two displays. And once again there will be the popular Children’s Fancy Dress Competition. The theme is ‘As Seen on TV’.
A tasty BBQ to feed the inner man or woman, a Beer Tent, ice creams, and Afternoon Teas to give you a welcome sit down will all be available.

The stalls are as numerous as ever with something for every one, including a Big Grand Draw with excellent prizes, also plant and produce, bottle stalls, books jewellery, needlework, cakes and tombolas and more besides.

There will be
The Children’s Corner with games, crafts and lots to amuse the youngsters.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads.
