2013 Ipswich Santa Run

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) is hosting a new business Santa Run in Ipswich this year and budding Santa’s are needed to make the event a success.

The Ransomes Europark Santa Run takes place at 1pm on Friday 6th December. The route starts and finishes at Marshalls KIA and you can choose to run it once for a 2.5km distance or twice for 5km distance. It’s not a race, so participants don’t have to be expert runners. You can walk, jog or run – it’s up to you.

Hannah Bloom, EACH Suffolk Partnerships Manager, said, “We’re really looking forward to the Ransomes Europark Santa Run. It’s taking place during lunchtime, so local businesses will be able to take part without having to take time off work. It’s a perfect excuse to have fun with your colleagues while raising funds for a vital local cause.

“We hope lots of people sign up and raise plenty of sponsorship to ensure we can continue to deliver care and support to life-threatened children and their families.”
Adult entry is £10 and includes a Santa suit or £8 without a suit. Participants are encouraged to raise sponsorship.

•To join the fun you’ll be shortly be able to enter online at www.each.org.uk/santaruns or call 01473 276196 to request an entry form.
