Inspire Suffolk offer youngsters chance to try centre

This month the Inspire Suffolk charity is offering youngsters the chance to try their new indoor and outdoor sporting activities for FREE! On Sunday 9th February if you are aged between five and 14 you can pop along to their extensive facilities at their new home (the former Ipswich Academy Holywells School) on Lindbergh Road in Ipswich to enjoy 20 minute taster sessions of a multitude of sports.

The sessions open to boys and girls will include; fun football, hockey, basketball, football, handball, tennis and kwik cricket. Mums and dads attending will be pleased to know tea and coffee will be also be on tap for them! The FREE sporting sessions will run from 1pm until 3pm and are a chance to view the expanded multi-sport courses on offer from the former ITFC Charitable Trust – a local charity reaching out to young people through sport.

The Inspire Suffolk team have been working hard to complete the make-over of their new premises and are urgently appealing for help with donations of decorating materials including; magnolia paint, white gloss, contract carpet, kitchen equipment and cleaning and painting materials. They are also looking for expertise from trade’s people who might have a small amount of time they can donate to help the charity continue to work with young people in need of guidance helping them get back on track to a brighter future right here in Suffolk.

Finally, you can also meet the Inspire Suffolk Team this month at their Quiz Night hosted by Seckford Golf Club at Woodbridge. Teams of four are invited to join them on Wednesday 5th February at 7.30pm for a hot meal and raffle followed by plenty of questions to flex your brain brawn!
