Woodbridge to witness movie preview

An Oscar-winning producer will be screening his latest film at a
special preview followed by a talk with Q & A on February 23rd at the
Riverside Theatre in Woodbridge, Suffolk.

Peter Fudakowski, who produced the Academy Award-winning foreign language film Tsotsi in 2006, has directed Secret Sharer, a romantic thriller inspired by the Joseph Conrad short story and will be previewing the feature to selected audiences prior to the film’s national release in June.

Peter_movieSecret Sharer charts a young man’s maturity through challenging human relationships on the high seas. Set in the South China Sea on a rusting cargo ship, a Polish sea captain (Jack Laskey; Sherlock Holmes: a Game of Shadows) shelters a mysterious and beautiful fugitive (Zhu Zhu; Cloud Atlas) from his mutinous crew on an epic sail to China.

Peter Fudakowski said, “I’m looking forward to coming to The Riverside Theatre because it will be my first Q&A as a director. Questions from an audience of film lovers are always stimulating for filmmakers, if not testing. It’s been a major life experience changing from producer to director, one that I would like to share with the Woodbridge audience.”

Peter will be joined by his wife, Henrietta Fudakowski, the film’s
script editor.

The film event takes place on Sunday, February 23rd at 3pm. Tickets
are priced £10 or £14 to include a glass of wine and are available
from the Riverside’s website www.theriverside.co.uk or by calling
the box office on 01394 382174. The Riverside Restaurant and Theatre,
Quayside, Woodbridge, Suffolk IP12 1BH.
