The Forknight kicks off with a brand NEW feature, our very own All About Ipswich Food and Drink Market on the Cornhill featuring local produce, delicious tasters and a whole host of chefs cooking with some of the finest and most exciting ingredients found and produced within the County. Suffolk has established itself as a destination for local, home-grown produce, therefore we want to display this wonderful offer of food and drink in the County Town of Suffolk.

Emma Crowhurst has already confirmed to show off her cookery skills at the Food and Drink market on 11th May. Emma commented: “Suffolk is renowned for being a foodie destination and is high on the list for food tourism. We want to showcase the fantastic produce in Ipswich, at the heart of our county.”

Paul Clement, Chief Executive of Ipswich Central Commented: “As the County Town of Suffolk, it is important to showcase the fantastic food and drink offer in Ipswich. The food and drink market on the Cornhill will showcase the plethora of local producers and businesses alongside a number of cooking demonstrations.”
