Ipswich will be playing its part in marking Commonwealth Day next Monday (10th March) – the first time local towns and communities throughout the country will be flying their own flags to mark the occasion.
A total of 500 flags will be flown in the UK and the Mayor of Ipswich, Councillor Hamil Clarke, will be doing the honours on the Cornhill in front of the Town Hall at 10am.
