Top things to do at the Suffolk Show for free
Children aged 14 and under can not only go free, for the first time ever, to this year’s Suffolk Show but once inside the gates there is also so much to see and do that doesn’t cost a penny. Here’s a glimpse of all you can explore, discover, taste and enjoy from when the gates open at 7.30am on both days.
Head straight for the new Farm Discovery Zone a massive area that contains equipment and interactive activities explaining all about the life of a farmer and how your food is produced, all set out in themes.
Ride a child size tractor
Sit in a real size tractor and combine harvester
Stroke a little calf
Watch eggs hatch and hold a tiny chick or duckling
Cook – make a pizza – and eat it!
See the carrot lifestory from seed to soup!
Have a go at making sausages
Watch a Sheep Show – yes really – live sheep performing and being shorn.

Participate in more than 20 sports, with registered coaches
