Hollesey Village Fete

Hollesley Village Fete has established itself as a “can’t miss” event in recent years. Along with the usual stalls, and side shows, the Fete on Saturday 28th June will include an exciting display from the Gypsy Dreams Belly Dancing Team and the Hollesley School Country Dance Team, and live music will be provided by “Hollesley Trumpets”.

A delicious BBQ will be available from 12.30pm and the bar will be provided by the Shepherd and Dog Pub.
Don’t forget to purchase your Grand Draw tickets for the chance to win £100 and many other fantastic prizes.

The Dog Show starts at 1pm with several fun classes and every dog will win a prize. In addition to this year’s dog show you will also have the opportunity to take advantage of a free micro chipping service offered by the Dogs Trust. Just look for the Dogs Trust yellow gazebo and there will be someone there to tell you all you need to know about micro chipping and the new laws coming into force in 2016.

A Judo display, a display of model boats from the Gipping Valley Model Boat Club, Riding for the Disabled, traditional games, bouncy castle, and Coconut Shy are all there for your entertainment along with teas and cake, coffee, squash and icecream for your afternoon refreshment.

The proceeds from the day will be divided between various village groups and the Church.
The Hollesley Fete and Fun Dog Show takes place on Saturday 28th June at 12.30pm.
