Woodbridge’s iconic working Tide Mill is in the spotlight once more. This time in the BBC’s Tastes of Britain series which will be screened this Autumn on BBC1.
The series celebrates local produce and Woodbridge is just one of many destinations featured in the episode on Suffolk, alongside Sutton Hoo Chickens, High House Fruit Farm and a few other local gems. Tastes of Britain is presented by Janet Street Porter with cooking by Brian Turner.
Nigel Barratt, Trustee and Miller at Woodbridge Tide Mill, said, “It was great to give Janet Street Porter a tour of the Mill and to see Brian Turner using our flour, alongside Sutton Hoo chicken, to cook up a delicious dish. Nothing’s been confirmed yet but the rumour is that the Suffolk episode will screen on 16th September at 3.30pm on BBC1.”
