Ipswich 18 helps entrepreneurs

The Eastern Enterprise Hub is delighted to be recruiting again for its popular Ipswich 18 Programme, due to start in January 2015.

The four-month course, which is free and delivered in partnership with Ipswich Borough Council, will encourage and inspire individuals living in Ipswich to become more entrepreneurial and to develop their enterprise ideas and self-confidence. Students will ‘grow’ by learning from the real life experiences and expertise of established business leaders in the local area.

Chanel Olding, Learning Manager, Eastern Enterprise Hub said, “We were so delighted with the calibre of entrepreneurs coming from the Ipswich area, which resulted in a highly successful inaugural Ipswich 18 Programme. We are very much looking forward to repeating this success with our new programme due to start in January 2015”.
Fran Sibthorpe, founder of Fran Joy and previous Ipswich 18 Programme student said, “Whilst on the programme I learnt the importance of leadership; engaging with people whilst pitching and marketing my business. The programme also provided a clear indication of what my business was lacking and where it needed to be developed further.”

“The EEHub facilitators and external speakers were very helpful, and it was great to have the opportunity to use the in-house resources as well as the 1-to-1 support.”
