Christmas Cards for Good Causes

The Ipswich Cards for Good Causes shop received a boost when volunteer staff were visited by the Mayor and Mayoress of Ipswich, Bill and Barbara Quinton.

The seasonal charity shop can be found inside the Borough Council’s Tourist Information Centre in St Stephen’s Church until 20th December. It is open Mondays to Saturdays from 9am to 4.45pm.

Cards for Good Causes is the UK’s largest multi-charity Christmas card organisation, selling through a network of temporary shops with at least 70p in every £1 going to help local, national and international charities.

“A visit to the Tourist Information Centre is a real treat at Christmas,” said Manager David Stainer. “As well as charity cards and wrapping paper you can look at our own wide range of locally themed books, souvenirs and preserves. They make a great present to people wanting a little bit of Ipswich at Christmas.”
