Do you want to skydive?

Ipswich based children’s charity Ormiston Families is looking for those brave enough to take to the skies for a charity Skydive on 1st March 2015.

The jump will see each willing participant jump from 13,000 feet in tandem with an experienced instructor from UK Parachuting, reaching speeds of up to 120mph before returning safely back to earth.

The charity have booked out the entire day at the Ellough Airfield in Beccles so there is no limit on the number of people who can take part, making it perfect for groups of friends or family.

Ormiston Families fundraiser Rachael Mittell, who has signed up for the jump herself, said:

“I am really excited to be taking a team of people on a day they’ll never forget. It’s not only a fantastic way to raise money but it’s the ultimate adrenaline rush for anyone who takes part.”

“The best thing is, unlike a marathon or mountain climb, you don’t have to go through weeks of training and preparation.”

“Once you have signed up I will be on hand to answer any questions you might have and help you with your fundraising effort.”

Proceeds from the challenge will go towards the work of children’s charity Ormiston Families who support a range of vulnerable families across the region including prisoners’ families, disengaged school students and victims of domestic abuse.

Registration is just £50 which guarantees your place, with a fundraising target of £300. If you reach your target then the jump itself is FREE!

You can register now at http://www.ukparachuting.co.uk/events or by contacting Rachael Mittell on rachael.mittell@ormiston.org or call 01473 705046.
