Feathers, Fowl, Fillies, and Futures Lead The New Wolsey Theatre’s Half Term Shows!
The New Wolsey Theatre team are getting ready for an exciting half term line-up in this February!
On Saturday 14th February, help Freda catch her own very special feather in The Feather Catcher! Using live music and beautiful projections, Filskit Theatre presents a fun, playful story of friendship, working together and mischievous feathers. Great for younger children aged 3+ with a chance to stay and play with the performers after the show.
The sky is falling down on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th February! Come and meet Chicken Licken and all her friends Henny Penny, Ducky Lucky and Turkey Lurkey. Mixed into this recipe of food, puppets and music is the story of Little Red Hen and the sly Foxy Loxy. Will she outwit him and save her stuffing?
Begin an adventure like no other on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th February with Rosie’s Magic Horse. Ice-lolly mountains by the sea, caskets of gold, and scurvy pirates – it’s a heart-warming tale of aspiration, friendship, adventure and a little bit of mischief! Join us for a brand new production based on the book by Russell Hoban and illustrated by Quentin Blake.
Last in the week is the New Wolsey’s very own production When I Grow Up. Great for ages Eight to 10, it’s not just about choosing a job, it’s about working out what you’re good at and a little bit more about the kind of person you want to be. Adults are welcome in case they need a reminder too!
Tickets are on sale now and can be booked through the Box Office by calling 01473 295900 or by booking online at www.wolseytheatre.co.uk.
