Dancing at Snape

DanceEast and Aldeburgh Music continue the hugely successful Snape Dances series with Wayne McGregor’s latest work Atomos at Snape Maltings Concert Hall this February.

Atomising bodies, move-ment, film, sound and light into miniature shards of intense sensation, Atomos is McGregor’s newest work. Known for his unique, tenacious questioning across the interface of art and science and through the body and mind, McGregor has remained at the forefront of contemporary arts for the past 20 years.

Ten incredible dancers perform McGregor’s unique style – sculptural, rigorous, jarring and hauntingly beautiful.

He is accompanied by a team of sensational artists, along with costumes by the ground-breaking designers of wearable technologies, Studio XO. Neo-classical ambient composers, A Winged Victory For The Sullen, provide the soaring score.

In Aldeburgh for only two nights, and with tickets starting at only £6, this special performance is not to be missed.

Atomos will be at the Snape Maltings Concert Hall, Aldeburgh on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st February at 7.30pm. To book tickets contact the Box Office on 01728 687110.
