Showtime and Jazz Hands

It’s Showtime! Is a glitzy song and dance show, with some comedy thrown in for good measure. There will be songs from some of the all time favourites, Oklahoma!, The King and I, Kiss me Kate, Cabaret and of course Les Miserables. But also there will be some rock ‘n’ roll from All Shook Up and the youth will be featuring songs from Buggy and much much more.

“It’s not what we include in the show, it’s what we have to leave out which is the difficult part!” said the director of the next Stage Door Theatre Company production, Claire Hopkins. “It’s been really difficult because we have so much to choose from but I believe we have got a good mix of favourites.”

The show is a real family affair too as Claire’s daughter Danii is in charge of choreography. “It’s fair to say we do talk about the show a lot at home.” said Claire. “With Jo King as our MD and Norman Lloyd as producer we have a great team on board to deliver what we hope will be fabulous show”

It’s Showtime! will be performed at Kesgrave Community Centre Twelve Acre Approach Kesgrave on 29th and 30th May at 7.45pm with 2.30pm matinee on 30th May. Tickets are all priced at £9 from New Wolsey Box Office, phone 01473 295900 or online at www.wolseytheatre.co.uk
