Excitement is brewing for the Museum of East Anglian Life’s 19th annual beer festival!
Mark your calendars for Stowmarket’s favourite event. The Festival of Beer and Brewing will be taking place from the 9th-12th July and will feature over 80 real ales and a number of ciders, all held within the Museum’s atmospheric 13th century barn.
As real ale enjoys a resurgence in popularity, festival goers will get the chance to enjoy the finest ales East Anglia has to offer as well as a number of guest ales from across the UK. Run in association with CAMRA- the Campaign for Real Ale, the beer list is curated by CAMRA members who’ve picked an expert selection for enjoyment.
With live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, the beer festival is an event that brings the community together for an entertaining and atmospheric weekend not to be missed.
“Every year the beer festival gets bigger and better, we know that good beer, fantastic live music and the amazing surroundings of the Museum are a winning combination. We’ll have plenty of beer, cider and even wine for festival-goers to enjoy.”
Admission will be £2.50 to the Beer Festival or is included in standard museum admission during the day. Museum Members get in for free, along with CAMRA members, both require a valid membership card.
