Summer at Museum of East Anglian Life

Come along to the Museum of East Anglian Life this Summer Holidays for some fabulous fun activities!

New for this year the Museum ARTefacts Re-Enactment Summer Holiday Clubs for children age 7+ with Black Knight Historical re-enactors.
Medieval week will run from the 17th to the 21st of August, Children will be able to explore what life was like in Medieval times, learn from professional re-enactors and have a go at Medieval art techniques. The next week will be our Georgian week from the 24th to 28th of August. In this week we will be finding out from real re-enactors what the Georgians did, what their clothes were like and more as well as working towards the Explore Arts Award.

Each ARTefacts Summer Holiday Club is just £99.00 per child for five full days of activities and will run from 10am to 4pm every day. Children on the courses will also be able to earn an Explore Arts Award. There are limited spaces on these exciting new courses so please book ahead!

The Museum’s popular summer Mud, Bugs and Baking sessions are returning too. Starting with ‘Meg and Mog’ on the 30th of July and ending with ‘The Great Pet Sale’ on the 14th of August we will have six family friendly fabulously fun activities. Each session starts with a story followed by exciting activities for everyone to join in with. Come and hear ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ then take part in a bug hunt or listen to ‘Owl Babies’ and try your hand at making chocolate nests.

Drinks and biscuits are included and the activities are suitable for ages 2+. Summer holiday activities 10am-12pm, led by a museum staff, £2.50 per child plus normal museum entry. Limited spaces so book ahead.
