The East of England Co-op opened a brand new Co-op Daily food store on Handford Road, Ipswich on Friday 4 September – bringing an improved shopping experience for local people.
The £1.1million investment by the East of England Co-op into the new premises has resulted in a bright and modern, 2000 square foot store, that includes a Subway sandwich concession.

Store employees at the East of England Co-op’s Barrack Corner store, which closed permanently on Thursday 3 September, have all been transferred to the new look store just around the corner.
Store Manager, Claire Brennan is excited about the move, he said: “I’m really looking forward to welcoming local residents to our brand new store and becoming a part of the neighbourhood.”
