Immerse yourself into Maori culture

Kapa-Haka-Tale---credit-Time-Unlimited-ToursAs the New Zealand vs. Australia Rugby World Cup final approaches, so does the magical performance from Corey Baker Dance at the Jerwood DanceHouse. Immerse yourself into Maori culture and be transported into the world of Kapa Haka Tale one day after the battle between the All Blacks and Australia.

On Sunday 1 November, Kapa Haka Tale will captivate you through powerful and mesmerising choreography, ethereal digital creatures, and an awe-inspiring set, rich with colour, nature and beautiful tribal Maori art. Through complimented use of innovative digital technology, you will be immersed in a real experience of Maori community, culture, people, legend and art form.

If you can’t make the performance, or if you want to have a go yourself, why not pop along to our FREE event in Ipswich Town Centre before the match begins on Saturday 31 October. At 1pm and 3pm this free, outdoor, native Maori experience will give you the opportunity to learn the fierce New Zealand haka just before the All Blacks take to the stage at Twickenham.

This Maori experience appeals not only to theatregoers, but Rugby and Haka fans alike. So if you wish to be spellbound by New Zealand’s magical culture presented in true top class style, make sure you don’t miss out and book your tickets now!
