The Landguard Partnership in Felixstowe is proud to announce the twelve winning photographs in the Landguard Photography Competition 2015.
The overall “Judges Choice” winner is Thomas Harvey – who has become the first person to win the competition twice in a row, having won last year also. Thomas receives a cash prize of £50 to put towards photographic equipment, alongside a framed copy of his photograph.
Now in its fifth year the hugely popular Landguard Photography Competition, organised by the Landguard Partnership, allows both professional and amateur photographers to take their favourite scenes of the Peninsula at Felixstowe.
Once again, the overall quality and variety of photographs this year was outstanding, with around 800 people voting online for their favourites. From this the twelve winning photographs were selected – four from each of the three competition categories: Black and White, Abstract and Weather. Thomas’s photograph was in the Weather category.
A group of four judges met yesterday to choose the overall winner.
A special presentation evening for the twelve winners will be held at the Felixstowe Town Hall in two weeks time.
