Christmas Craft Fayre at Museum

Christmas is coming! Get your Christmas shopping started at the 5th annual Christmas Craft Fayre, held at the Museum of East Anglian Life on Friday 27th November 2015.

santamealFind a range of beautiful Christmas gifts all held within the Museum’s 13th century tithe barn, with beautiful jewellery, delicious cakes and handcrafted Christmas decorations all on offer.

Buy your tickets for the Museum Christmas Raffle and be in the running for some fantastic prizes including a weekend break, Aspall’s Cider and £50 cash.

Christmas festivities will be filling the town as the event runs alongside the Stowmarket Lights Switch On and the annual St Peter and St Mary’s Church Christmas Tree Festival. As part of the Museum’s ‘Vintage Christmas’ you’ll find a selection of Christmas trees throughout Abbot’s Hall, as the Christmas Tree Festival extends to include the Museum and The Mix.

Father Christmas will be parking his reindeer on the front lawn of Abbot’s Hall before settling down in the parlour ready to meet children and hear their Christmas wishes.

IMG_9634Can’t visit Father Christmas on Craft Fayre Night? He’ll be back on Saturday 5th, 12th and 19th December, accompanying the traditional children’s Christmas activities held on these days.

Children’s favourite Olaf the Snowman will be visiting the Museum, find the Frozen film favourite outside the Craft Fayre.

We’ll have Christmas trees on sale, ready to pre-order as you prepare for the authentic smell of Christmas to fill your home. The Museum will be selling Christmas trees on Saturday’s in December and provides a Christmas tree recycling service in the New Year.
