Art Bridges the Gap

Theronda Hoffman, local Suffolk artist, is organising the third ‘Art Bridges the Gap’ exhibition at Kesgrave Arts from 5th until 24th December, raising funds for Age UK Suffolk.

This year’s exhibition will feature a variety of work by Theronda, some of her students and other artists from Suffolk.  A Warehouse Sale will also take place of work by Theronda Hoffman over the years and half the proceeds will go to Age UK Suffolk.

thorandaThe preview night will take place on Friday 4th December from 7.00pm at Kesgrave Arts, 83 Main Road, Kesgrave with the exhibition running from 5th until 24th December on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Theronda Hoffman said, “I am always very keen to promote art in Suffolk and to encourage people of all ages to become creative, particularly older people who often find art classes beneficial both socially and creatively.  I live to paint and paint to live and art bridges all the gaps and no age limits!”

She continued, “I have been supporting Age UK Suffolk for over three years as they provide so many valuable services for older people in Suffolk”.

Maggie James, Individual Giving Officer, said, “We thank Theronda Hoffman who is such a great supporter of Age UK Suffolk and this is her third exhibition which celebrates art for all ages and allows everyone to appreciate the artistic talent alive in Suffolk.   We also appreciate all the other artists who are either donating paintings or selling with a commission to the charity.

“Theronda has also kindly donated half the proceeds of her Warehouse Sale which takes place during the exhibition.  She is selling past work from over the years for affordable prices.  So come along and take the opportunity of buying yourself a painting at an affordable price or give as a Christmas present to family and friends!  The funds raised will go towards our services for older people in Suffolk.”
