Santa parachute

Santa needs little helpers – Join hundreds of Santas this December at UK Parachuting in Beccles for a special event aiming to raise funds for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.

Being held over three days on 11th, 12th and 13th December, Santa challenges you to take a one way flight two miles above the East Coast and to jump (harnessed to an instructor) and fall at speeds of up to 165 miles per hour. After the speed ride of around 50 seconds, your instructor deploys the parachute and you can enjoy a peaceful, scenic six minute ride back to earth. Did we mention you and your instructor would be dressed as Santa?

So, how does it work? We ask you to raise £300 in sponsorship. This sponsorship covers the cost of your skydive and a donation to the charity. Of course raising more will mean even more goes towards the vital work of EACH in providing care and support to children and their families.

Gemma Smith, EACH Suffolk Fundraiser said, “This is such a fantastic and fun way to raise funds! We hope as many people as possible will don a santa suit and get involved. Why not buy a Christmas present for a loved one who has always wanted to do a skydive? It’s the opportunity of a lifetime and the perfect Christmas gift, which will also bring a huge amount of Christmas cheer to all the children and families we care for.”

So what are you waiting for? Get your friends, family or work colleagues together and get a team of Santa’s little helpers to jump and raise much needed funds for local children and families.
