FARMER Christmas comes to Baylham

fcIt doesn’t seem that long since Baylham House Farm closed for the winter but we’ve heard news that means that they’ll be opening in December.

Farmer Christmas has again agreed to take time out from looking after Santa’s animals and to visit Baylham Farm for the first three weekends in December (5/6th, 12/13th, 19/20th) and, because it’s for the child in us all, adults will only pay a child’s entrance.

From 10am to 4pm Farmer Christmas will be in Baylham’s Christmas barn, with some helpers, ready to talk to every boy and girl who wants to tell him their wishes for Christmas. There is no additional charge to see Farmer Christmas and good boys and girls will be given a small gift.

Not only will you be able to meet Farmer Christmas you’ll also be able to see all your old friends, or make new ones, on the farm. The yard enclosures are filled with pigs and cattle to keep them out of the worst of the winter weather, while the sheep are still out until they’re brought in for lambing.

And what could be a better way to end your visit than with something available from the Farm Café. Be it a light lunch or a bacon roll, cake or cream tea, coffee or a luxury hot chocolate, you can be sure it’ll be a perfect end to a perfect day.
