Festive Fort

The historic Landguard Fort in Felixstowe is launching an ‘all new’ festive family treat on Sunday 13th December 2015 from 1pm until 7pm.

A whole afternoon of seasonal fun and entertainment, culminating in a traditional carol service and the Fort lit up festive style, plus snow machines too!

FortDuring the day, visitors can follow the special ‘Santa Trail’ through the Fort tunnels, complete with themed areas and surprises, before reaching Father Christmas in his secret grotto. Get a picture too on Santa’s sleigh with Rudolph!

Pick up great last minute pressies, with a range of craft and gift stalls selling hand-made and unique items. The Felixstowe Museum will present a special room of seasonal displays, and there will be Christmas storytelling. Whilst children can solve the special quiz trail, then make lighthouse nightlights with Touching the Tide.

Throughout the afternoon, there will be live music, including Tutti Frutti Voices, The Felix Stowaways, Colneis Junior School choir and the Felixstowe Community Choir. At 5pm, join in the traditional carols with the Felixstowe Salvation Army Band.

Delicious hot food and drinks will be available.

Admission is just £5 per person, including entry to the Fort and all activities and entertainment, plus a visit to Father Christmas and a present for every child.
