Over 45? Then get Active

The ActivIpswich Sports Project is targeted at people who are over 45 years of age (there is no upper age limit), who don’t currently take part in sport but who might like to if it was the right activity, in the right place at the right time.
Every Monday: Bap n’Boccia  (+ New Age Kurling), Greenfinch Church Hall, IP2 0SQ – 1.00-3.00pm. Boccia is a seated game that is played at the Paralympics. Kurling is an adapted version of Ice curling (no ice, no sweeping and no bending down low!). Both of these sports are very accessible and great fun to play. £2.50 includes a bacon roll or alternative plus tea/coffee. First session is free.
Every Tuesday: ActivBowls, Gainsborough Sports & Community Centre, IP3 0SP – 11.00am-12.30pm. All equipment provided. £2.50 includes refreshments. First session is free. Contact Mike at ActivIpswich on 01473 345350 or mike@activlives.org.uk (Starts on the 2nd February)
• There are lots more activities available, for more information visit www.activlives.org.uk or telephone 01473 345350.
