Alison Weir to give talk on Richard III

Best-selling author and historian Alison Weir will be appearing at Red Rose Chain’s Avenue Theatre to give her hugely popular talk Richard III – The Man & The Myth on Saturday 7th May!!!

Alison Weir is a big supporter of Red Rose Chain since Joanna Carrick’s critically acclaimed play Fallen In Love, when it was performed at Gippeswyk Hall before touring to The Tower of London. Most recently Alison came to see Progress when it opened The Avenue last year and she absolutely loved it, praising the show as “drama worthy of The Globe”.

Alison will give the audience a special event which will take place at 6pm on Saturday 7th May – bookable for FREE for ticket holders of either the matinee or evening Richard III performance on 7th May.

As the UK’s biggest selling female historian, Alison tours all over the world entertaining and educating audiences about some of history’s most notorious characters – so her talk on Richard III is one event seriously not to be missed!
