Stories of Saxmundham’s Past

Come and hear Belinda Moore’s stories of Saxmundham’s Past at the June meeting of the Alde Valley Suffolk Family History Group.

Through conversations with forty Saxmundham residents (some of whom you probably know), her book “Sax Stories” tells the story of Saxmundham, which was, until the mid 20th century, a thriving rural market town, once important enough to host the Suffolk Show! Belinda Moore is a freelance writer who grew up in East Suffolk.

She lives in Saxmundham with her husband Marcus Bacon and their two sons. The meeting will be held on Monday 20th June at Leiston Community Centre at 7.30pm, admission £2.50 including refreshments.
