Community Garden is buzzing

Honey harvested from their own busy bees will be on sale at the CRESS Market at the Halifax Road Pavilion on Friday 16 September 10am to 1pm.

Tomatoes galore, onions, courgettes, salad and herbs and other delicious fresh produce harvested from the People’s Community Garden will also be on offer.

Come along to enjoy the buzz and meet new people, or take time to sit with a friend over lunch and a cuppa and homemade cake, made with ingredients from the garden.

If you’d like to spruce up your garden or local green space, there will be an array of of plants from the Chantry Walled Garden.

ActivSheds will be in full swing, so come along to find out more about this DIY, repair and upcycling project.

Maidenhall Residents’ Association and other community groups will also be offering their wares for sale.

The community garden will be open from 9am to 3pm, so please feel free look around.
