Mayor’s Charity Fundraising Event

Felixstowe’s Answer to Last Night of the Proms – Essential Sounds 18 piece big band performing for the Mayor Jan Garfield’s charities Level Two Youth Project and Felixstowe branch of Guide Dogs for the Blind will take place on Saturday 24th September, arrive 7pm for 7.30 pm concert at Felixstowe International College (Garrison Lane, Felixstowe IP11 7RF). 

This modern big band features styles including Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra and much more.  The concert will be outside if weather permits and inside if not.  If outside bring your own picnic chairs – (Ticket option of bring your own picnic, or with Indian curry kindly supplied by Bombay Nite Restaurant).  £10 (without food) and £15 (with curry/rice) which must be pre-booked.  Tea/Coffee, cake and soft drinks will be available to purchase on the night.  There will be a raffle too.  Early booking advisable as Essential Sounds have a lot of followers and have previously performed to sell out concerts at both Barham Hall and Wix Abbey.
