2016 Firework Displays

Friday 4th November
Millennium Green
, Sproughton BBQ and Fireworks. Fantastic, safe, good value family entertainment that is very suitable for young children as no really loud bangs. Entrance is by donation of £5/adult and £2/child (Under 4’s free). Limited parking for the disabled is available on the Green. Car parking in School grounds (Church Lane) if it’s dry at £1/car. BBq will be available from 7pm with the fireworks from 8pm. In aid of All Saints’ Sproughton Church Funds

Friday 4th November
St John’s Family Fireworks Display
takes place at Ransomes Sports and Social Club, Sidegate Avenue, Ipswich. This highly acclaimed fireworks display with family friendly entertainment and refreshments includes family entertainment suitable for ages 1 to 101! Gates open 6.15pm, with the display starting at 7.30pm. Prices on the gate £5 per adult and £4 per child. Children under 4 go free. All proceeds are in aid of St John’s CEVAP School PTA.

Saturday 5th November
East Anglia’s Premier Musical Firework Display
brought to you by Alchemy Fireworks in Christchurch Park Ipswich. The evening will combine a fantastic firework display with an exciting open air theatre production of ‘A Guy Fawkes Story’ a comedy in the ‘Horrible Histories’ style.
Join in the fun by dressing in your favourite Halloween outfits. The park will again be dressed in the Halloween theme with spooky scary surprises around every corner. Organisers have again created a truly haunting theme with gravely lit scenes featuring a near dead stage featuring ‘DJ Rave Digger’ & ‘MC Bone Shaker’ short un-dead performances, monumental lighting, spookily lit grave stones creating a living cemetery with dancers, spooks, zombies and ghouls!
The family friendly and traditional event will also include music with fun and laughter Enjoy the fire performers, Halloween Dance, stilt walkers, samba bands and bonfires.
A fantastic funfair for all ages and a glorious array of food from hot dogs to hog roasts and Fish & chips to donuts and a licensed bar are all available.

Saturday 5th November
Sorrel Horse, Shottisham are holding a Bonfire and Firework Night
. So prepare for a great night as they’re packing in the fun for you and your family. Don’t throw out the pumpkins after Halloween, bring them along from 6pm, pick up a numbered ticket and the most imaginative and fun will win some prizes for the kids.
Live music with The Alibi Club with their fantastic rock covers after the fireworks
Free parking and entrance, kids games & glow sticks (although pleased to receive any donations).
If you’re driving then do get along early as the parking is limited by the space available and once it’s full, they’re full.

Saturday 5th November
Heveningham Hall:
One of Suffolk’s most spectacular firework displays set in the grounds of Heveningham Hall. A huge bonfire is the backdrop for this amazing display by Full Effect Fireworks, along with a traditional Funfair, a large bar, Fish & Chips, Hog Roast, BBQ and a variety of tasty local foods. Gates open 5.30pm, Vehicle tickets (includes all passengers) £25 on the gate.

Sunday 6th November
Felixstowe Spectacular
: It is one of the biggest nights in Felixstowe’s events calendar and this year the ninth annual Felixstowe Firework Spectacular is back with a bang… and bigger than ever before!
The 20 minute professional display will be fired to music once again. As well as the display, the event will feature a fun fair, sideshows, fire entertainers and a food village featuring a BBQ, Wood Fired pizzas, jacket potatoes, posh coffee, donuts and much more.
Over the years, thousands of pounds has been raised for local charities and this year the event organised by Felixstowe & Walton United FC will benefit the community sports hub at Dellwood Avenue as well as providing the Town of Felixstowe with a major public firework display of its own to be proud of.
