This year’s star-studded pantomime is being launched at Ipswich’s Regent Theatre this coming week.
The original launch was postponed after international soul star and Three Degrees legend Sheila Ferguson injured her knee.
Fans will recall one of her biggest hits was “Take Good Care of Yourself”. And she has! Sheila is now fighting fit and will be at East Anglia’s biggest theatre on Wednesday 26th October with the rest of the cast to start the countdown to Sleeping Beauty.
Sheila will share the stage this Christmas with TV presenter and comedian Mike McLean and singer and actor Keith Jack, who wowed the nation on “Any Dream Will Do”. CBBC’s “The Next Step” star Ella Gilling, David Phipps-Davis and Town 102’s irrepressible Wayne Bavin also star.
This year’s dream of a pantomime, brought to life by Enchanted Entertainment, will also feature a live band, amazing 3D projections, heaps of fun and laughter as well as plenty of audience participation.
Theatre bosses, buoyed with record advance sales for this year’s panto, say that Sheila Ferguson is sure to be a big hit when the curtains open on 17th December. There will be 24 shows to choose from, so there is plenty of choice for this family favourite.
Sleeping Beauty will be packed with sensational songs, dazzling dance routines, spectacular sets and fabulous costumes.
