Felixstowe: Spa celebrates birthday


Last month the Spa gave you a sneak preview of their birthday celebrations for this month – yes believe it or not the Spa Pavilion has been open for a whole year!

They are so grateful to everyone for supporting them but they still need you to continue to purchase tickets so to tempt you they are brimming with top acts and entertainment this month.

Among the most inventive and influential bands in the history of popular music, 10cc are joining performing on Friday 4th November from 7.30pm “Hit after hit after hit. It’s relentless. We show no mercy,” says Graham Gouldman, co-founder of 10cc.

The following day is the British Legion Remembrance Festival on Saturday 5th at 7.30pm. The Band of The Royal British Legion Leiston offers an evening of music and community singing as well as a Service of Remembrance with comedian Stephen Bayfield and Pipe Major Graham Macausland.

Hot on the heels of yet another successful European tour, the UK’s best Sixties show, The Bootleg Sixties is on Wednesday 9th November at 7.30pm. A first for the Spa is Pride & Prejudice – 21 characters, 2 actors and 1 one of the most romantic stories of all time starts the Birthday celebrations off in style on Friday 11th November, 7.30pm.

Then on Saturday 12th it’s The Stars from The Commitments performing especially for the Spa’s Birthday Party from 7.30pm – one more you’ll not want to miss is the special Rock Roll & Soul night with all profits to BBC’s Children in Need on Friday 18th November from 7.30pm.
