Greenprint Forum teams up with University

Join the highly regarded Professor Tim O’Riordan OBE, FBA in a discussion about the issues surrounding sustainable development, prosperity and economic growth on Monday 28 November 6pm to 8pm.
This event, in partnership with the University of Suffolk, will gently explore some of the thinking associated with Steady State/Sustainable Prosperity Economics and the challenges of continued economic growth whilst living within the earth’s environmental limits and ensuring strong, healthy and just societies.
Tim is an Emeritus Professor of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia and in recognition for his contribution to academia and society received an OBE in 2010. He is also Deputy Lieutenant of the County of Norfolk, having served as Sheriff of Norwich in 2009-10. He is European Advisor to the UK Sustainable Development Commission, a core member of the Prince of Wales’ seminar on Business and the Environment, a board member on the Corporate Responsibility Body for Asda plc, and a driving force on the Growth and Climate Change Panel for Anglian Water Group.
The event will take place at The Waterfront Building, Ipswich on Monday 28 November from 6pm-8pm and free refreshments will be available for all who attend.
