Ahoy land-lubbers

This Christmas, get ready to set sail with Red Rose Chain as they embark on a swash-buckling adventure full of pirates, parrots and hidden treasure for Joanna Carrick’s adaptation of the timeless classic Treasure Island! Yo-ho me hearties yo-ho!

Red Rose Chain is extremely excited to welcome back Joel Macey to the company as Long John Silver! Whether he’s making you laugh uncontrollably in The Magic Fishbone or tear up in Wuthering Heights, Joel can make any character his own and we can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve for Long John Silver! You can bet he’ll have everyone walking the plank this winter!

Joining Joel for adventures on the high seas are multi-talented fresh faces to Red Rose Chain, Claire Lloyd and Ryan Penny! Expect larger-than-life creations in Jo’s fun and fast-paced adaptation.

Matinee spaces around Christmas are already filling up, make sure you get yours!

Proudly sponsored by Coes Ipswich, join Red Rose Chain for “buccaneers and buried gold” – if you are still yet to visit their studio theatre in Ipswich, now’s the perfect time to see what they get up to the rest of the year!
Treasure Island is suitable for all ages and offers “A magical family alternative to panto” (The Stage).

Treasure Island runs from 8th December – 2nd January.
