February brings a whole host of great shows to the Spa in Felixstowe. You have the chance to step back in time to the golden era of pop music where the jukebox roared and feet didn’t touch the floor with Lipstick on your Collar on Friday 10th February at 7.30pm. Also this month mums and dads bring your Little Mixers to enjoy Black Magic – The Little Mix Tribute Show on Wednesday 15th February at 7.30pm. This show features hits from Little Mix’s first album and X-Factor including ‘Wings’, ‘How Ya Doin’ and ‘Cannonball’. Right up to their current 2016 smash hits ‘Black Magic’ and ‘Love Me Like You’. There’s even a chance to join in with dance competitions, giveaways and you get to meet the girls after the show!
Talking of children The Jungle Book comes to the Spa on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th February. Great for Wolf-cubs everywhere, Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book” is getting the Oddsocks treatment! Enjoy the comical adventures of Mowgli the man cub as he battles to survive and become the leader of the pack brought to you by the incredible Oddsocks Theatre Company.
Finally for the grown ups Rick McKay & Starkville bring their totally authentic Johnny Cash show to The Spa…on Saturday 25th February at 7.30pm. A complete look at the life and music of the Man in Black, Rick and his band perform all of the hits live and in the style intended for them. So much attention to detail has gone into this show that WS ‘Fluke’ Holland, Johnny’s drummer in The Tennessee Three, and who has played with Starkville, said, “Rick McKay and Starkville are doing an excellent job of keeping Johnny’s music alive.”
