Be part of The New Wolsey’s production: The Ladykillers!

The New Wolsey Theatre are looking for local mature ladies, who would be interested in being a part of their upcoming production of The Ladykillers.

Between Thursday 7 September and Saturday 30 September the New Wolsey Theatre will co-produce a new regional tour of the Classic Ealing Comedy alongside Salisbury Playhouse, Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch and by arrangement with Fiery Angel Limited, London. 

Participants are required to be a part of this hilarious, much-loved film adaptation. The New Wolsey Theatre are looking for local ladies, who would like to play the ‘Old Ladies’ in the production. Interested ladies would need to look over the age of 65 and will be required to appear at the end of Act One and beginning of Act Two.

There is flexibility around current commitments for interested ladies unable to attend all of the performance dates.

Participants will be required to attend a rehearsal in late August, followed by a technical and dress rehearsal in the week commencing 4th September.

If you would like to be considered for a role in this production, please come along on Monday 17th July to meet director Peter Rowe and take part in some activities as a group at the High Street Exhibition Gallery, High Street, Ipswich IP1 3QH (Next to Ipswich Museum) between 3pm – 4pm.
