A call for cyclists to join in a fund raising bike ride in aid of East Anglian Air Ambulance on Sunday 23rd July starting at Glemham Hall, Little Glemham, Nr. Woodbridge.
Come and join the annual Suffolk Coast charity bike ride! Whether you’re an experienced long distance cyclist or a more casual rider, there’s something for all abilities with a choice of three routes of 100, 65 or 35 miles all winding along the beautiful Suffolk coastline. The riders will be met at the finish with live music, refreshments and a well-earned drink in the beer tent!
The ride is in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA), the charity providing a helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) for the people of East Anglia. The crew comprises specialist pre-hospital doctors and critical-care paramedics, operating out of two high-tech helicopters. East Anglian Air Ambulance needs to raise over £11 million this year to continue their lifesaving service.
Come along and register on the day or head to www.bike-events.co.uk/suffolkcoast or www.bike-events.co.uk/suffolkcoast100 to sign up online.
Last year, more than 40,000 people took part in the Bike Events programme, raising around £1m for good causes. For more details of the rides still to come in 2017, please see www.bike-events.co.uk; find Bike-Events on Facebook or follow @BikeEventsTeam on Twitter.
