Buxhall & Shelland Fete

The Buxhall & Shelland Church Fete takes place on Saturday August 5th 2017 in the gardens of Copinger Hall, Buxhall, from 2pm until 5.30pm.

This year the fete features the excitement of Eden Falconry with fantastic flying and static displays appealing to falcon lovers of all ages. Also displaying their skills for the first time at the fete is the Blodorn Englar Viking Age combat re-enactment group.

Overall the programme offers visitors a mix of tradition and innovation. As well as the popular Classic Car and Motorcycle display, Steam Traction Engine and new this year bee keeping and table magic demonstrations.

The children’s area includes a Ride-on Miniature Train, Bouncy Castle and lots more to keep younger family members entertained.

There’s also a Tombola, a Prize Draw, a Human Fruit Machine, traditional games and sports, stalls for Produce, Cakes, Books, White Elephant, Nearly New Clothes & Accessories, Sausages & Burgers, plus the famous Tea Tent and drinks including Pimms and Beer – and much more besides!

Admission is free, with plenty of parking available.
All proceeds in aid of Church Funds
