Firework Displays 2017

Here’s our pick of the area’s top organised firework displays. Remember there’s lot of advantages going to an organised event including safety but also entertainment, far greater value for money and a bigger display than most of us could afford at home.

3rd November
Hadleigh Annual Fireworks Display
is run by Hadleigh UFC and takes place at The Millfield, Tinkers Lane Hadleigh, Suffolk IP7 5NF. Fireworks start at 8pm.  Advance tickets are available at local Newsagents. Adults £4.50. Under 16’s £3.50 Pay on night Adults £5. Under 16’s £4. Under 5 Free Admission.

3rd November
St John’s Family Fireworks Display
takes place at Ransomes Sports and Social Club, Sidegate Avenue, Ipswich. This highly acclaimed fireworks display with family friendly entertainment and refreshments includes family entertainment suitable for ages 1 to 101! Gates open 6.15pm, with the display starting at 7.30pm. All proceeds are in aid of St John’s CEVAP School PTA

3rd November
Sproughton Bonfire, Fireworks & BBQ
at Sproughton Millennium Green, Lower Street, Sproughton, Huge bonfire and great fireworks. BBQ selling reasonably priced food. Popular family event attracting 1,800 last year. Car parking is available at the school in Church Lane (if not wet) – only £1/car or car parking in village. No other gimmicks for the children to nag for! BBQ from 7pm, bonfire lit at 7.15pm with fireworks at 8pm.

4th November
Fantastic Night of Fireworks and Family Entertainment
are in store at the region’s biggest Guy Fawkes event in Christchurch Park, Ipswich. The main feature will be another sensational musical fireworks display brought to you by ‘Alchemy Fireworks’, accompanied by a chart-topping soundtrack. There’ll be all the fun of the fair, catering stalls, a bar, roaring bonfire and more family-friendly entertainment. Gates open at 6pm with fireworks at 8pm and family fun through to 10pm.

5th November
Mendlesham Community Council Fireworks to Music
takes place on the playing field, Station Road, Mendlesham, 6pm for 6.30pm. Hot food and cold drinks are available. Entrance is £4 at the gate, Under 16’s £2. No Private Sparklers or Fireworks.

5th November
Felixstowe Firework Spectacular.
It is one of the biggest nights in Felixstowe’s events calendar and this year the 10th annual Felixstowe Firework Spectacular is back with a bang….and bigger than ever before! As well as the 20 minute firework display, the event will feature a fun fair, sideshows, the night flight aerial display team and a food village featuring a Bbq, Wood Fired pizzas, jacket potatoes, posh coffee, donuts and much more. Over the years, thousands of pounds has been raised for local charities and this year the event organised by Felixstowe & Walton United FC will benefit the Mayor’s Charities including Level Two and FACTS as well as providing the Town of Felixstowe with a major public firework display of its own to be proud of. Felixstowe Musical Fireworks takes place at Felixstowe & Walton Football Club, Dellwood Ave. Gates open 4.30pm, fireworks 6.30pm.
