May at Stonham Barns

Stonham Barns have a busy month with great family days out during May.

Over the Bank Holiday Weekend Sunday 6th and Monday 7th May from 10am until 5pm both days Stonham Barn plays host to The Natural Dog Show. This is a new collaboration between Doodledales and Stonham Barns promoting the health and wellbeing of dogs everywhere. Taking part will be top holistic veterinarians in the field of natural health, natural nutrition, positive training and active lifestyle products. During both days there will be demonstrations, seminars, workshops, exhibitors and plenty of food and drink to keep you going. Entrance prices are Adults £6, Concessions £5, 5-15 years £3, with a Family Ticket at just £14.00 (2 adults & 2 children). Under 5’s FREE. (Some seminars will cost extra).

Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th May, 10am until 4pm both days there is the Steam And Vintage Show this is a new event for Stonham Barns bringing together a gathering of historic traction engines, steam rollers and other historic exhibits such as stationary engines, agricultural and construction vehicles, working horses, wood and metal craft and the like. During the show vehicles will be demonstrated in the show ring and during the weekend they will be parked up in an area for the public to view more closely giving you the chance to examine and talk to the owners. There will be a fairground with a selection of rides and old time funfair stalls. A vintage market selling retro and antique clothing and nostalgic items of interest. Entertainment areas with food, drink, Morris dancing and vintage related trade and craft stalls. Entrance prices are: Adults £7.50. Concessions £5. 4-15 year olds £5, with a Family Ticket £20 (2 adults & 2 children). Under 4’s FREE.

Stonham Barns are hosting the Stonham Truck Show on Sunday 27th May. Returning again after the success of last year, and this year supporting the Air Ambulance, this show is about all things trucks, come along and see the different varieties that are on display. There will also be trade stands, food & drinks stalls and lots of entertainment. Prices are: Adult £3. Under 16 FREE. Truck entry £20.

On Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th May there will be Children’s Festival a two day event during half term full of fun and entertainment for your children. There will be creative workshop participation including a silent disco, puppet making, theatre, sports, music, art, circus skills and dance classes. An inflatable world with inflatable games and bouncing fun. Demonstrations and performances from talented artists and local arts providers. Gifts, book and clothes available to buy. Hot food options, picnic packs, ices and drinks available and lots more to keep your children entertained. Prices are: Children 3-15 years £10 per day. Accompany Adults, over 16’s and Under 3’s FREE.

For all the shows dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads.
