Stowmarket’s 22nd Beer & Brewing Fest

The Museum of East Anglian Life is back with the 22nd Festival of Beer and Brewing from Thursday 5th ­– Saturday 7th July 2018.

Excitement is brewing for Stowmarket’s favourite event, set within the Museum’s stunning 13th Century barn. The fun and friendly atmosphere attracts visitors from all over East Anglia every year, celebrating the areas rich heritage of brewing.

With over 100 ales and ciders, the festival is run in association with CAMRA- the Campaign for Real Ale, with a beer list curated by CAMRA members who’ve picked an expert selection for enjoyment. Featuring a selection of the best locally brewed beers, including those from CAMRA award winning breweries, the ales range in style to suit the tastes of everyone who visits.

With live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from The Blagger’s, Back Porch and Chuck Will’s Widow the beer festival provides a fun night out, with fantastic catering available to help soak up the ale!

“We have another superb list of beers, curated by CAMRA members to ensure a wide selection to suit all tastes.” explains Chloe Brett, Marketing Officer “the beer festival is a firm favourite for the local community and beyond, the event has a great atmosphere, with live music, food and drink. It’s not one to be missed!”

Admission is £3 on Thursday (all day), Friday and Saturday (until 4.30pm) and £4 on Friday and Saturday evenings (4.30pm-11pm or included in standard museum admission during the day. CAMRA members get free entry with a valid membership card.

Opening Hours:
Thursday: 5pm- 11pm
Friday: 12 noon- 11pm
Saturday: 11am-11pm
