Red Rose Chain present Much Ado About Nothing

It’s almost that time again! The highlight of the summer when the fantastic Red Rose Chain theatre company return to bring you Theatre in the Forest! And this year is going to be incredible as they take on Shakespeare’s most madcap comedy, Much Ado About Nothing amongst the trees at Jimmy’s Farm.

Not only is Theatre in the Forest the region’s largest outdoor theatre event, but The Independent voted it as one of the Top 10 Events for Families and Children too! They are so excited to bring you the most spectacular summer yet, sponsored by Anything Print and Curzon Associate Marketing.
Much Ado features some of Shakespeare’s most iconic couples and Red Rose Chain has a cast full of familar faces this year!

Beatrice will be played by Fizz Waller (making her triumphant return after starring as Rosalind in As You Like It last summer) and joining her from his own stunning debut in As You Like It is Jack Heydon as Claudio, who is joined by Ricky Oakley as Benedick and Oliver Cudbill as Don Pedro – fresh from their powerhouse performances in Put Out The Lights this spring. Starring alongside them are Claire Lloyd (Treasure Island) and Joanna Sawyer (The Importance of Being Earnest) who will be lending her extraordinary musical talents as the company take you back in time to the 1940s!

Once again you can enjoy a delicious pre-theatre dinner in Jimmy’s Farm’s award-winning restaurant, or you can bring your own picnic, please find more details online at theatreintheforest.com
