St Elizabeth Hospice’s Bubble Rush event returns to Chantry Park, Ipswich on 8th June.
Bubble Rush is a family-friendly event with five bubble stations where participants are covered with safe, frothy foam. You can walk, run or dance your way around the 5km route, and there is lots of additional entertainment available on the day to keep the kids entertained for hours.
Bubble Rush is a great way for families to support the hospice as it’s open to all ages and great fun for the whole family. Families are also encouraged to fundraise for the hospice in memory of a loved one as a family fundraising activity, helping children to understand more about loss and supporting charitable causes.
Catherine Sheppard, events and challenges fundraiser for St Elizabeth Hospice, said, “Back by popular demand, we’re pleased to be able to offer this foam-tastic family fun day again in Chantry Park. There’s nothing else like it in the area, especially in support of such a good local cause.
“The hospice has supported many families through difficult times with our superb counselling facilities which are also available for children who have lost a loved one. £48 is the cost of one of these bereavement sessions, so we’re calling on local families to participate in the Bubble Rush challenge and help fundraise for one child bereavement session, as well as having a fab time in the foam on the day! Families that raise £100 or over for Bubble Rush will get one ticket entry refunded on the day, as we really want to engage and reward families for fundraising for us.”
