Written by Ipswich24, 21/07/2019
Chapterhouse Theatre Company’s open-air tour marks it’s 20th anniversary year.
Throughout the summer, Chapterhouse will be bringing stunning performances of six classic stories to some of the UK and Ireland’s most beautiful outdoor venues, promising to be one of the most enchanting and unmissable events of the summer. www.chapterhouse.org
The brand-new show for 2019 is an adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s swashbuckling adventure Treasure Island, which will provide fun for all the family.
A firm favourite with Chapterhouse audiences, Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, will join the 2019 productions. Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights and Elizabeth Gaskell’s Cranford will also take to the stage, meaning that most of our summer productions will showcase bold, exciting stories from women writers in the literary canon.
