This year Felixstowe Carnival will take you back in time to all those favourite decades of last century.
Will it be those hippie 60’s or the War years, the power shoulders of the 80’s or an earlier decade with the great advances in travel and science.
The Felixstowe Carnival weekend is Friday 26th to Sunday 28th July 2019.
Start your Carnival weekend early on Friday with a live swing band on the main stage in the beach side events area. Bring a picnic and enjoy Felixstowe’s last night of the proms concert. The flags will be provided!
Saturday starts with the traditional procession starting at 1pm and moving through the town to the seafront. The Carnival then continues throughout Saturday and Sunday on the seafront.
Between the main stage and the family area there is something for everyone to enjoy and all the entertainment is free. Don’t forget to meet the Dinosaurs, visit the craft fair in the Leisure Centre and the beachside traders.
Felixstowe Carnival weekend will finish with a spectacular Fireworks display at 10pm off the pier.
Make sure you pick up your free programme for full details of the weekend and don’t forget the Carnival committee need your donations to keep this a free to all event in the future and after a particularly difficult year to raise funds can you spare them something extra to keep our annual tradition going.
