Autumn at Stonham Barns

Stonham Barns Leisure & Shopping Village is a bustling family complex filled with an abundance of attractions and activities to suit all, providing a wonderful family day out in the Suffolk Countryside.
Great family events are hosted throughout the year in the Showground, Barn and Indoor Theatre. On Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th October come along to the Antique, Vintage, Retro & Collectors Fair where there will be many indoor and outdoor stalls selling everything from jewellery, china, stamps, militaria, linen and toys to vintage clothing and collectables. Saturday 10am – 4pm £3. Early Entry (Sat only) 8.30am £3.50. Sunday 9am – 3pm £2.
On Saturday 19th October come and celebrate The Dark Ages at the Saxon & Viking Festival. Visit the living history camp, see demonstrations on cooking, weaving, leathercraft, woodwork, blacksmithing, herbalists, films, music, re-enactment displays and battles. Adults £10.00. Concessions £8.00. Children 4 – 15 years £5.00. Family Ticket (2 adults, 2 children) £25.00.
On Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th October come along and see The Halloween Spooktacular Show ‘The Carnival of Screams’, bigger and better than last year a fun spooky treat for the whole family with acrobatic skeletons, dancing zombies and much more. From only £10 per person.
Then on Friday 25th October Stonham Barn’s annual Firework & Halloween Spectacular with fireworks to music, competitions for best Halloween costumes and best carved pumpkin. Children’s entertainment with magician Robbie James, Halloween games, facing painting, fun fair, food and drink. Adults £10.00. Under 16’s FREE.
Also every Sunday until November there is the very popular car boot sale. Ideal for antique sellers, loft clearers and one-off sellers. Come along sell your goods or seek out a bargain.
Other things at Stonham Barns to keep you busy include a golf park with eight different golfing activities. Teapot Pottery and Tea Room with a range of teapots for sale or paint your own, whilst you are there have a pot of tea or coffee and a piece of home-made cake. Two fully stocked fishing lakes to enjoy a relaxing day of fishing. The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary which has over 90 different birds of prey, Meerkats and red squirrels.
Shopping village with a wonderful range of unique shops and businesses for you to browse around. The Bistro which serves delicious home-made food seven days a week.
For the younger ones in your family visit Tumbledown Soft Play Barn or the children’s playzone which has a bouncy pillow, static steam train and seasonal fair rides.
This is a ‘dog friendly’ site, but they must be kept on lead. All areas are disabled accessible with designated parking areas.
