Jim Davidson just one of stars at Spa this autumn

From Gold to Rio celebrates Spandau Ballet and Duran Duran on Friday 8th November at 8pm, with the Magic of Motown the following night – Saturday 9th at 8pm and then follows a comic legend on Friday 15th November at 7.30pm with Kevin ‘Bloody’ Wilson, who brings The Almost Awesome Tour into town. Be warned, if you’re a politically correct ‘snowflake’ you may well find this show offensive. Over 18’s and only those with a strong constitution are recommended to purchase tickets for not just one, but two comedians on this special night, as Kev brings comedian Jenny Talia along too.
Next to add some pizazz to the line-up this month it’s the Ultimate Bublé on Saturday 23rd November from 7.30pm. Mark Daniels will perform some of the Canadian crooner’s biggest hits.
Even less political correctness is to follow as the Spa plays host to Jim Davidson OBE who will be doing his level best to fight back against the PC world we now live in. His brand new and outrageous show The People Fight Back is on Friday 29th from 8pm – strictly over 18s only. The fun doesn’t stop there – Saturday 30th from 7.30pm is Some Guys Have All The Luck – The Rod Stewart Story. This brand new show brings to the stage a fantastic live concert celebrating one of rock’s most loved performers with a live band and stunning stage and light show.
December is filled with the festive mood as The Big Band at Christmas with Five Star Swing perform on Sunday 1st from 3pm. A week later and it’s Walk Like A Man – The Sounds of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons on Saturday 7th at 7.30pm. Then it’s more festive frolics with A Christmas Cracker variety show on the following afternoon from 3pm. The Rat Pack Live Christmas Party is back on Friday 13th at 8pm and the Spa even manage to fit in some Abba and Bluejays rock and roll in December too before Dick Whittington a family Pantomime rolls into town with the Dennis Lowe Theatre Company from the 21st December.
There are 3-in-1 Christmas Parties available on shows from the end of November too, with a meal, premium show ticket, DJ and Dancing to midnight, so whatever your preference there’s never been a better time to come to this fabulous, independent theatre by the sea.
