Quiz Night raises over £4,000 for Children in Need

One of the region’s biggest ever quiz events managed to raise an incredible amount for this year’s BBC Children in Need appeal.

The Hearing Care Centre, joined forces with BBC Radio Suffolk for The Big Suffolk Quiz held on Sunday 10th November 2019.

Presented by BBC radio presenter Mark Murphy, the evening was attended by over 350 people across 62 teams. Tickets for the quiz sold out in less than a week, which further demonstrated the event’s popularity.

The event was held in aid of Children in Need, ahead of their appeal show which takes place on Friday 15th November 2019. The money will go towards the amazing projects that help to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people all over the country, including many local schemes in Suffolk.

Karen Finch, Managing Director of The Hearing Care Centre, said “The quizzes we hold every year are a real highlight for us and such a great evening. This was without question the best event so far and it is all thanks to the generous support of local businesses, our wonderful attendees and of course the teams at The Hearing Care Centre, BBC Radio Suffolk and Trinity Park. A huge thank you to all and bring on the next event!”
