Slapstick musical

This February half-term, the National award-winning CTC return to the Seckford Theatre in Woodbridge with everyone’s favourite fun gangster musical BUGSY MALONE! complete with custard pies and splurge guns! Bugsy Malone is a master class in musical comedy.
Set in New York City, two gangs square off in a 1920s rivalry of Capone-ian standards.
Dandy Dan’s gang has gotten the upper hand since obtaining the “splurge” gun – a weapon that shoots whipped cream!
Now, Fat Sam and his bumbling buffoons are in real trouble. Bugsy, a one-time boxer, is thrust not-so-willingly into the gangster limelight when he becomes the last chance that Fat Sam’s gang has of surviving. All Bugsy really wants to do is spend time with his new love and aspiring singer, Blousey Brown, but will he be able to resist seductive songstress Tallulah and stay out of trouble while helping Fat Sam defend his business?
The CTC was founded by Bridie Horne in 2009 and began its journey by offering summer workshops in a local school hall. Now offering full-time provision (CTC Foundation); a part-time training platform (CTC Academy); an in-house Agency (CTC Management); and award-winning full-scale productions (CTC Events), the CTC has earned its reputation as one of the finest training centres in the East of England.
The CTC now have their own studios based in Needham Market providing a modern, vibrant and professional training hub fully equipped for the specific needs of the Performing Arts. With sprung flooring, Sonos surround sound, costume and props store, a scenic workshop, floor to ceiling mirrors and windows, the space is uniquely fresh and inviting.
